WELCOME
The Canadian Competition Policy Page is a project of the Phelps Centre for the Study of Government and Business located at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. This is a site devoted to the dissemination of information on competition law and economics in Canada. On this site, you will find a small bibliography of articles and books which provide an overview of competition policy in Canada. You will find links to relevant Canadian legislation and to international agencies involved in antitrust and competition policy. We are also very excited to provide you with a simple merger simulation program that allows you to simulate the post-merger impact on prices, consumer surplus and total welfare. Finally, when possible, we will provide information about upcoming conferences which are of interest to competition policy practitioners.

We hope you enjoy your visit,

David Krause & Tom Ross
